Your exams, study sessions, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you sign in, your account profile and any study rooms or friend connections you create are stored in our Supabase backend.
If you continue as a guest, no account is created and your data never leaves your device. Online features such as Study Rooms and Friends are disabled until you sign in.
When you sign in we store your email (for authentication), a display name, and a generated student ID used to connect with friends. Study activity you complete while signed in may be recorded so friends can see study streaks.
Messages you send in a room are visible to other people in that room and are deleted when the room is terminated or after a period of inactivity.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send marketing notifications.
You can sign out at any time from Settings. To permanently delete your account and associated data, contact support or use the account-deletion option in the Study Together app, which shares the same backend.
For privacy questions, to report abuse, or to appeal a moderation decision,or to request deletion/restoration of your account email us. We reply to every report.
